You do NOT have to find the “Magic” Pill or Potion! It literally is all about BALANCE and LEARNING how to create a balance with Food, Nutrition, Movement or Exercise, and Mindset.
No one teaches us how to eat right or what to do and so we just copy those around us, or try what seems to work for others but you know what? It is EXHAUSTING!!!!!!!!!!
I have worked with clients for the past 20 years and the success comes from eating well, balancing foods that fuel us with foods that don’t but we want, and creating a lifestyle of self care, exercise, and positive mindset.
There is no “trick” to eating right and having a healthy weight. Dieting does NOT work! It is an emotional rollercoaster— your overweight, so you lose weight quickly on a fad diet (oh and lower your metabolic rate and can’t sustain weight loss) then you stop the diet b/c its not maintainable long term and now weight it is gained back, you feel awful and then go back to a quick fix and so on and so on…
What’s even WORSE? Your very impressionable kids see all of this! They think they need to worry about their weight and that weight = they are good/bad and they develop obsessions with food, eating disorders, poor body image, and will struggle with their health, weight, and body image for the rest of their life…
